10. Kikori, Papua New Guinea

8. Henderson Lake, British Columbia
Vancouver Island is located on the west coast of Canada. Its inaccessible places are still covered with ancient forests. 4. Waialeale, USA

This amount of rain is due to the fact that the island is located in the north, so it falls under the influence of strong atmospheric fronts in the cold season. Also, increased humidity is explained by moisture-bearing winds that blow from all sides of the island, similar in shape to a cone. The top of the volcano is a plateau on which there is a small lake.
3. Cherapundji, India
This is a small town in which about 10 thousand inhabitants. It is considered one of the most famous places for humidity on the planet, in which about 11777 mm of precipitation falls annually. It was here that the highest rainfall in 12 months fell, about 26471 mm. The record was also set for the number of precipitation that fell during the month– 9299 mm. Due to regular rains, the soils here are poor, they are constantly washed with water. The coolest time of the year is from November to February.
2. Mousynram, India
This village is located near Cherapundji, just 16 km away. This is also one of the rainiest places in the world, with rainfall up to 11872 mm.
1. Lloro, Colombia
This town is located in the well-known humidity department of Choko, near the town of Atrato, in the upper reaches of the river, which bears the same name. Here, up to 13300 mm of precipitation fell during the year. Agriculture is well developed in this area, and crops such as sugarcane and bananas grow well. In this region it is warm enough, as the average temperature is at around 28 degrees.
